The potential of cruises



MyCruise established themselves as an agency for the world’s leading cruise lines in 2008. Their main goal is to boost sale of cruises in the North. In 2015 MyCruise entered a collaboration with us. This led to an in-depth analysis of the market for cruises, an analysis of MyCruise as well as an anal-ysis of the target group. The insights showed a great unexplored potential market for cruises in the North – especially in Denmark.


The print media focused marketing strategy was converted into an entirely digital marketing strategy, centering around consumer behavior and consumer preferences.


The result of the digital marketing, consumer behavior and consumer preference focus were a yearly growth of 30 %. Even though the media budget remains the same, the yearly growth prevails since the alliance was signed in 2015.
